On the weekend of 12th-14th of January 2018, the Fifth National Convention of Tax Advisors was held in Warsaw. A new chairperson for the National Council of Tax Advisors was appointed during a vote – Adam Marianski, assistant professor in the Department of Tax Law of the University of Lodz, tax advisor with 20 years of experience and managing partner in Marianski Group.
Professor Marianski was elected for a four year term. The new chairperson announced that efforts will begin to raise the prestige of tax advisors among other public trust professions.
Professor Marianski is the author of over 200 publications in the area of tax law. He is a member of the board of the International Fiscal Association – Polish branch. He specialises in corporate income tax, third-person responsibility, business succession, tax control and proceedings, and protection of the rights of individuals in tax law.
