Our Vietnam practice dates from the mid-1960s. We were the only foreign law firm in Vietnam at that time. We closed our office in Saigon in the mid-1970s, and were licensed again in Ho Chi Minh City in 1993. We opened our office in Hanoi about a year later. Our team in Vietnam is comprised of experienced expatriate and Vietnamese attorneys who have been trained both locally and overseas.

A large part of our Vietnam practice is performed for foreign companies as they begin, continue or expand their operations in Vietnam. We handle ongoing client matters dealing with a wide range of corporate issues and in a range of sectors: manufacturing, banking, retailing, healthcare, real estate, tax and commercial services. We advise and assist clients to structure their investments, to work within Vietnam, and to deal with issues arising during the course of their business--licensing contract negotiations and performance, employment issues, etc.
